Working in a team with people that have different backgrounds is often
underestimated. Challenges can arise from situations that, at first instance
look so simple and unimportant, but could be an giant obstacle for the
success of your organization.
For example, a different way of thinking. A
different perception of time. (Mis)understanding of body language. Language
barriers, even though both parties speak reasonable English. And then,
differences between the Ghanaian collectivistic society and the Dutch
individualistic society.
